1. About this application

Cinematic Exploration Scheduler ("the App") is a personal productivity tool operated by Andy Enright ("we", "us", "our") to automate the scheduling and publishing of photography content to TikTok via TikTok's official Content Posting API.

By using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid TikTok account to use this App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. How the App works

The App connects to your Google Drive to access photo files you specify, uses AI to generate captions and hashtags, and schedules content to your TikTok account via TikTok's official API. The App accesses only the files and scopes you explicitly authorise.

4. Your responsibilities

  • You are solely responsible for all content published through the App.

  • You must ensure content complies with TikTok's Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.

  • You must not use the App to post content that is harmful, misleading, or unlawful.

  • You are responsible for safeguarding your access tokens and credentials.

5. Intellectual property

You retain all ownership of the photos and content you upload and publish through the App. The App does not claim any rights over your content.

6. Third-party services

The App integrates with TikTok (via TikTok for Developers API), Google Drive, and Buffer. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions of those third-party platforms.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that content will be published without error. API access is subject to TikTok's rate limits and policies, which may change without notice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to missed posts, account suspension, or data loss.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

1. Who we are

Cinematic Exploration Scheduler is operated by Andy Enright, a photographer and content creator based in Dublin, Ireland, trading under the Cinematic Exploration brand. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data in connection with our TikTok developer application.

3. What data we do not collect

  • We do not collect private messages or DMs

  • We do not access any Google Drive files outside the folder you specify

  • We do not store your TikTok password or Buffer password

  • We do not sell, share, or monetise your data in any way

  • We do not use your data to train AI models

4. How we use your data

Data collected is used solely to operate the App — to schedule posts, generate AI captions tailored to your account, and track content performance for your own benefit. Performance data (e.g. which caption styles get more views) is stored locally in your browser and is never transmitted to third parties.

Performance and session data is stored locally in your browser's localStorage. No data is stored on external servers operated by us. Access tokens are held in memory during your session only and are not persisted beyond the session unless you explicitly save them.

As an Irish-based operator, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you

  • Request correction or deletion of your data

  • Withdraw consent for data processing at any time by revoking app access via TikTok's connected apps settings

  • Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (Ireland) at dataprotection.ie

To revoke access: TikTok app → Settings → Security → Authorised apps → Cinematic Exploration Scheduler → Remove.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data. Access tokens are handled in-memory and never logged. We recommend revoking and regenerating tokens periodically from your TikTok developer dashboard.

9. Children's privacy

This App is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance.
